Toyota partners with Allen’s new Collin College Technical Campus for technician training

Toyota, which has its North American headquarters in Plano, has added eight new partnerships to its Technician Training & Education Network, including the new Collin College Technical Campus in Allen.

The T-TEN program partners with 44 schools and organizations to offer students the opportunity to earn degrees and certificates that comply with the highest standards in the automotive industry.

Students can choose from three different programs to best fit their needs: an associate’s degree, National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or Toyota and Lexus technician training certifications. All certifications typically take about two years to complete.

HP channel partners to see new program in spring 2020

HP Inc. plans to revamp the HP Partner First Program this spring to reflect extensive transformation underway at the company.

The updated HP channel partner program, which is slated to launch in or around May, will formalize changes in HP’s focus on outcome- and data-driven customer strategies, according to HP chief commercial officer Christoph Schell. More than 80{c4cf6ba696bcdcdf86b604b720875a2a98cda9c220bbcc2ba24070e6e282b06f} of the company’s revenue is derived from HP channel partners.

The new partner program comes as HP is fighting off a takeover attempt by rival Xerox.

Ferrellgas the nation’s second largest propane retailer has awarded its annual Ferrellgas Scholarship to 14 deserving students pursuing higher education across the United States.

In its 29th year, the Ferrellgas Scholarship Program seeks to provide financial assistance to the children or dependents of Ferrellgas employees in markets across the country. Totaling more than $550,000 awarded over that time, the program remains one of the many ways the company is committed to giving back to the communities it serves. To be eligible, children of Ferrellgas employees must demonstrate substantial academic capability, participation in school activities, and a basic financial need.
